HEAR and DARE Information Days 2020

Information events for the Higher Education Access Route (HEAR) and the Disability Access Route to Education (DARE) will be held across Ireland on Saturday, 11th of January 2020. These access routes provide places in higher education courses and extra educational support for young people who have experienced disadvantages during their post-primary education.

Why not pop along to an event near you to see whether your young person qualifies for either, or both, or the routes, and also to learn more about the benefits. Advisors will be available at all locations to take questions and guide potential applicants through the process, providing information on the information requirements.

Events will take place in the following locations from 10am to 2pm:

  • Athlone – Athlone IT
  • Carlow – IT Carlow
  • Cork – Devere Hall, UCC
  • Donegal – Letterkenny IT
  • Dublin – TU Dublin City Campus, Aungier Street
  • Galway – ILAS, Upper Newcastle Road, NUI Galway
  • IT Sligo – IT Sligo, Ash Lane
  • Kerry – IT Tralee
  • Kildare – Phoenix Building, North Campus, Maynooth University
  • Limerick – Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick
  • Monaghan – Glencarn Hotel, Castleblaney
  • Wexford – Wexford Library, Malin Street (10:30am – 2:30pm)
