Catherine O’Connor, MA (Ed) Education Consultant, works as an education specialist in student recruitment at Trinity College Dublin and has over twenty years’ experience in education encompassing design and delivery of programmes at diploma, degree and master’s level at both Trinity College and Dublin City University.
She has researched and published within the areas of education and technology enhanced learning and is a member of the Third Level Computing Forum and Student Led Learning, a special interest group supported by the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning. She is also a regular contributor to regional radio, television and national radio, the Irish Independent, campus.ie, careersnews.ie, and careersportal.ie on the subject of making the transition to college.

Leaving Cert 2015
The National Parents’ Council Post Primary (NPCpp) would like to congratulate and compliment all Leaving Certificate and Leaving Certificate Applied students who received their results today. We wish them sincere best wishes and good luck into the future.
Don Myers President of NPCpp said “this is a great day for those students who received their results. They have spent five or six years preparing for the next step whether it is a move into college, further education, training, apprenticeship or straight into the working environment. Parents should be proud of their sons and daughters and give them every support as they make their way in life”.

The National Parents’ Council (Post Primary) Leaving Cert Helpline is open from today (Wednesday 12th) to assist in anyway with queries from students and parents whether it is support and comfort, queries about courses in further or higher education, CAO applications, student grants or whatever.
