The Helpline is provided courtesy of the National Parents' Council in association with the Irish Independent, Eircom and supported by the Dept. of Education & Skills. The Institute of Guidance Counsellors is employed to provide qualified guidance counsellors to give advice and support to both students and their parents. Running the Helpline on behalf of NPCpp is Helpline Coordinator Rose Tully.

The Leaving Certificate Results for 2011 will be released on Wednesday 17th August. The Helpline will be in operation on Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th of August.
The Helpline will also be in operation on Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23th of August when college offers are made available.
